 Welcome back to another night with Blog!!!   I just recently watched a video with four leaders in their companies discussing keys to individual cooperate success. All of there stories revolved around connecting with their employees and building a network both internally and externally. I really liked what Brent with Dell said about an approach to connect through brand certification. They are providing employees with opportunity to learn more about to company. The hope is the more they understand the more they will connect.  I just recently retired from a 20yr Air Force Career. So this whole corporate world is new to me but the concept of retention and recruiting is not. I spent 2005-2010 in the recruiting service and learned a lot about the Air Force at that time. Search the Dark Web!!!!

 Welcome back,      Ya Know its been an interesting week. Looks like I'm going to be changing jobs here in the next few months (For a good reason) but this weeks topic got me to thinking.  What if anything is out there on me. I get emails once and again that my password has been found in a dark web search. I really don't know how that even works or what I need to do about it but I'm sure I forgot what that password was and have changed it at least 15 times since it was stolen. That did prompt me to do a quick search of myself. I started with my Full name  Jonathan Murphy. I found out there are a lot of people with my same name. none of them even look like me. However from Actors to MMA fighters the names is synonymous with greatness. After not finding anything on myself I started to search with more specifics. When I typed in Jon Murphy Wichita KS it did populate my Linked in account. The one and only Social media account i think should be used as a hiring ...

The Future of HR

 Welcome to the Blog. I have had a pretty exciting week the influx of HR material this week was almost overwhelming. There are so many different aspects that play a role in HR that I didn't even know existed. I'm sure  that I am the only one here that didn't know that. So lets take a look at one of the new concepts I learned there was a video I watched produced by Dr. Dave Ulrich named The Future of HR.  In this video Dave discusses the 10 criteria to find success in the future.
